A group of disgruntled invaders marched en masse to the El Paso courthouse demanding something be done about the “inhumane treatment” they have been getting, ever since they jumped our border. That isn’t what Joe Biden promised them.

March to El Paso courthouse

Local outlets are reporting, that “a group of migrants marched from the Sacred Heart Church located in the Segundo Barrio to the El Paso County Courthouse Wednesday, protesting inhumane treatment.

The December 28 protest came after Title 42 was extended the day before.

Most of the marching migrants have been hanging out at Sacred Heart Church to get their “sanctuary” because none of them “have the proper paperwork that would allow them to leave El Paso legally.

Worse, they don’t have valid asylum claims either so they’re about to be deported. “They now risk being expelled to Mexico.” The way they see it, Alejandro Mayorkas just bent them over without even a kiss.

According to Angelo Parra, they have “nowhere to go.” He isn’t going back to Venezuela. All he wants “is to be accepted into the United States.” Just let us leave El Paso and we’ll behave, they promise.

We are asking for the government’s help in this case the legal process or a permit for us to continue on our journey. We can get our tickets, we have somewhere to go. we do not want to be on the streets begging, we don’t want shelter we want to get to our destination.

Local migrants not sympathetic

The “barrio” full of marching migrants is also home to a whole bunch of immigrant citizens who followed the rules to get in properly. They’re furious. Sarah Isabel Pantoja is originally from Panama. “She flies to and from El Paso to her home country in order to be able to study in the U.S.” The difference is that she’s allowed to.

She has questions for all of the recent invaders about their intentions. “My question is going to be the same question, why the United States if they have the opportunity to stay in any other country in central America why the United States.” That’s a good question.

Meanwhile, the thousands who jumped the border don’t have permission to enter the city shelters. The ones unlucky enough to miss out on private sanctuary services “continue to sleep on the streets” across El Paso.

They’re also leaving their garbage everywhere. Some of the migrants got illegally creative but Texas is ready for them.

Carlos Rivera, a spokesperson for the Border Patrol El Paso Sector notes they have a new problem. “Migrants unfortunately are getting away from agents and attempting to exit El Paso. That means that our checkpoint operations have increased.

It seems that “over the Christmas weekend several busloads of migrants were encountered” trying to escape into the American heartland. “One bus load was upwards of about 38 migrants.” Over the weekend, “over 420 migrants were encountered trying to make it further into the U.S. and attempting to evade arrest.
