Well, that did not take long.
After all the hype of Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk running DOGE together, Ramaswamy has already walked away.
Now, there is speculation that he was forced out by Musk.
Get Out
Musk is not exactly someone who likes to share the spotlight, which is why I think he and Trump will eventually have a falling out.
That aside, it would appear that Ramaswamy was rubbing people the wrong way.
Sources are now blabbing that Musk wanted Ramaswamy gone, and people inside Trump’s inner circle were fed up with him.
Ramaswamy went from golden boy to villain in the MAGA world after his post about the H-1B visa program.
It was not exactly what he said, but the demeaning manner in which he said it. He basically talked down to the entire country, and that did not go over too well.
One source stated, “They wanted him out before the tweet — but kicked him to the curb when that came out.”
Another added, “just burned through the bridges and he finally burned Elon. Everyone wants him out of Mar-a-Lago, out of D.C.”
There is a lot to look at here, but first and foremost, Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles stated that gossip in the administration would not be tolerated, but we already have these reports of infighting coming out.
Second, Ramaswamy is reportedly going to run for governor of Ohio, so I am curious to see if Vance and Trump will endorse him or if they will leave him hanging.
As far as I know, Vance and Ramaswamy have been friends going back to college, so I would expect Vance to endorse him, but is that even the right move for Vance?
If Ramaswamy wins the race, he would then be in a position to raise his national profile, possibly putting him back in position to run for president again in 2028, but Vance is expected to be the favorite.
There is clearly a lot to unpack here, especially the Musk angle of pushing Ramaswamy out, so we are definitely going to keep our eyes and ears open on this one.
