The Department of Just Us “transparently” released the redacted copy of the affidavit used to obtain a search warrant for Mar-a-Lago. Conservatives are coming unglued but apparently, the judge doesn’t think the black magic marker spree was excessive, so there is nothing to be used to drag it out any farther. That’s all we’re ever going to see.
Affidavit goes public
Nobody can actually get away with claiming surprise over the blacked out affidavit copy Merrick Garland turned over. Judge Bruce Reinhart approved it, so he’s comfortable with the level of secrecy the FBI is insisting on.
Meanwhile, conservatives are in “a frenzy” across social media platforms. They’re finally waking up to just how evil the Deep State really is. Not much was left to see out of the entire 38-page document.
This, conservatives declare, most certainly does not provide “clear and sufficient evidence that a raid on Trump’s home was warranted.”
From the affidavit, here are DOJ's arguments/concerns:

Democrats are using it to support their side of the story as conservative commentator Carmine Sabia points out. “The most hilarious part of this affidavit is the media pretending that it shows something. This was done to protect President Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2024.”
Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, proclaims alongside images of the blacked out affidavit, “transparency is one of DOJ’s and FBI’s passions.”
He separately added, “DOJ and FBI are so corrupt that they’re redacting their reasons for redactions in their justification for raiding a U.S. president’s home. However much contempt you have for these lawless agencies, it’s not nearly enough.” That pretty much sums it up.
Trump’s boxes were disorganized
Joel Pollak summarized what he saw while reading through remains of the affidavit. “So far the main complaint is that Trump’s boxes were disorganized, and that possibly sensitive stuff was mixed in with memorabilia and junk. For this, they raided a former U.S. president’s home.”
Donald Trump Jr. simply observed “well this really clears things up.”
An official spokesperson for Former President Donald Trump, Taylor Budowich, issued a statement noting the “release of a heavily redacted, overtly political affidavit only proves that the Biden administration is desperate to cover up their unprecedented, unnecessary, and un-American raid against President Donald J. Trump.”
Needing more than the character limit, he added “This is a grave travesty, and what is unredacted only further supports President Trump’s position, there was NO reason for a raid – it is all politics!”
Vince Coglianese picked up on an important point that most people are missing. “In the affidavit, the Justice Department acknowledged that Trump’s lawyers and former officials pointed to his ‘absolute authority to declassify documents’ as president. If the DOJ explains why they ignored that point, their rationale is completely redacted.”
Jesse Kelly notes, “So anyway, Biden’s FBI just raided the home of his political opponent and they don’t feel the need to even tell why. In case you’re wondering how close we are to the brink.“
