The Biden-Harris regime has deployed massive logistical assets of the US Military to finally facilitate the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan as promised by President Trump. However, they will miss the May 1st deadline completely, a fact that has outraged Taliban leaders and deeply concerned Afghani government officials.
Biden Deploying MORE Assets to Afghanistan… For Now
What does this mean in the immediate future? MORE US Forces will actually be deployed to Afghanistan in the next few months, not less in order to make preparations for the withdrawal… that should go over really well with the locals.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told the press from Airforce One
“Potential adversaries should know that if they attack us in our withdrawal, we will defend ourselves, [and] our partners, with all the tools at our disposal,”
“While these actions will initially result in increased forces levels, we remain committed to having all U.S. military personnel out of Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021,” she said, adding that the Biden administration is intent on a “safe and responsible” exit from the war-torn country according to cnbc.
Sources within the Pentagon report that US Central Command is being supplied with additional B-52H Stratoforesses. The B-52H is the US Air Force’s “principal strategic nuclear and conventional weapons platform that supports the US Navy in anti-surface and submarine warfare missions.” according to airforce-technology.com.
The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), flagship of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKE CSG), supported by the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) and guided-missile destroyers USS Mitscher (DDG 57) and USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), will provide additional support the Pentagon stated.
The Eisenhower and her group entered the 5th Fleet’s Operations area on April 2nd as reported by navy.mil and is currently on course toward the Persian gulf off the coast of Oman.
Biden has claimed that the 3,000 US military personnel in Afghanistan will be removed by September 11th, telegraphing military, strategic operations in a way that many with common sense have criticized and fool-hardy and inviting disaster by angering signatories of the Doha Agreement which called for this withdrawal by no later than Saturday, not a full FOUR MONTHS LATER.
Even the optics are bad, timing the withdrawal of US Forces from a war-torn middle east on the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 invites jihadists to declare a moral victory, if not a truly military one.
