In the world of unreported and underreported bombshell Hunter Biden stories, the stack is getting pretty deep. The latest to fly unnoticed under the radar? How about good ol’ Hunter trying to land a gig for $2 million annually to lobby his then-Vice President Dad to unfreeze $15 Billion in Libyan assets? Now that’s a spicy one!
And why was all of this naked influence-peddling buried throughout the 2020 Election? Could it have something to do with a totally complicit media who had a decided self-interest in getting Biden elected? And of all the mainstream media outlets to release this one, leave it to Business Insider to wait until ten months after the election to pull the trigger. Leftist media watchdogs Mediaite even seemed shocked that Insider would pull this writing, “Business Insider Joins the Party in Releasing Hunter Biden Emails“.
Who Was Going To Hire Hunter? (And What Were They Thinking?)
Sam Jauhari, a well-known Democratic donor holding dual citizenship in the United States, Venezuela, and Lebanon, writing to Saudi Arabian Sheikh Mohammed Al Rahbani in January 2015 said “Per phone conversation I met with #2 son,” the emails showed His numerical description came as a reference to then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
Jauhari made reference to Joe’s likely Presidential bid and gave a stark warning to Sheikh Al Rahbani about Hunter’s serious drug problems and taste for “low-class hookers”. He also noted Beau Biden’s dishonorable discharge from the military though misattributing him to the Army rather than the Navy.
What followed was a very frank list of pros and cons for hiring the second-born scion of the Vice President.
“His positives are he is Chairman of UN World Food Program, son of #2 who has Libya file, access to State, Treasury, business partner SofS [former Secretary of State] J. [John] Forbes K [Kerry] son and since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M. Q. [late Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen,” Jauhari wrote.
And then there was a kicker which confirmed what many conservatives have been saying for years: a severely compromising link with China.
“He said he has access to highest level in PRC [People’s Republic of China], he can help there.”
“His negatives are that he is alcoholic, drug addict – kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches. We should meet in Gstraad or London to decide next steps.”
And finally, they discussed Hunter’s pricetag. “He wants $2 [million] per year retainer +++ success fees,” Jauhari added. “He wants to hire his own people – it can be close circle of people for confidentiality. His dad is deciding to run or not.”
