Elon Musk being in charge of Twitter is terrifying to the White House.
We now know that this administration, as well as rogue operatives before Biden took over, were working with social media to kill damaging stories about Democrats and Joe Biden.
Musk is now threatening to expose all the communications.
Perhaps that is why the White House openly admitted it is now watching Musk like a hawk.
We Are Watching
The White House was recently asked if it is worried about Musk running Twitter.
The answer should terrify anyone protective of free speech.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded, “This is something we’re certainly keeping an eye on.
“Look, we have always been very clear that when it comes to social media platforms, it is their responsibility to make sure when it comes to misinformation, or at least, when it comes to the hate we are seeing, that they take action, that they continue to take action.
“Again, we are keeping a close eye on this.
“We are monitoring what’s currently occurring and we see with our own eyes what you are reporting and just for ourselves what’s happening on Twitter.
“But again, social media companies have a responsibility to prevent their platforms from being used by any user citing violence, especially violence directed at individual communities as we have been seeing and the president has been very clear on calling that out.
“He’ll continue to do that and we will continue to monitor the situation.”
With the number of lies this administration has told, that is pretty rich.
