Supreme Court Strikes Down Dem Power Grab

Former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg is reportedly going to plead his case.

This could be a good thing or a bad thing for Trump.

He initially pleaded not guilty last year to charges of grand larceny.

How to Read This…

The original case involved the non-reporting of income.

This was for a car and apartment Weisselberg had been using that belonged to the Trump Organization.

Realistically, this happens in every major company in the country, but they went after this man to get something on Trump.

The word now is that Weisselberg will plead out to lesser charges before the scheduled trial in October.

There are two possible reasons this is happening.

First, he made a deal and turned on Trump.

Second, the state knew they had little, but they had enough to keep pressure on Weisselberg and make his life miserable.

He is likely guilty of free company perks that were not reported, but little else.

Considering how much scrutiny is paid to Trump and the audits the man has been through, I doubt Weisselberg was able to give the state anything truly useful to get Trump.

So, I think it was just an agreement to save everyone time and money.

On the flip side of this, several Trump companies are on the docket next.

Again, will the Manhattan DA find a few tax code violations? The answer is probably yes.

Will it be anything big that will not go away after a few days? Probably not.

Will it be so trivial that everyone will shake their heads in amazement at the time, money, and effort put into this case to hit Trump with a small fine? My guess is yes.
