Portland Transit Terror: Toddler Violently Assaulted

Another disgustingly violent and unprovoked assault happened in uber-liberal Northeast Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, December 28. This time, a 3-year-old toddler was tossed face first “onto the train tracks at a Gateway Transit Center MAX platform.” It’s just another day in liberal paradise.

Portland anarchist in jail

Brianna Lace Workman, who’s mugshot shows she’s anything but an upstanding, stalwart citizen of Portland, is currently in custody. The 32-year-old anarchist attacked without warning or provocation.

The opportunity to create chaos and mayhem happened when the 3-year-old girl’s mom, at her side, allowed her to stray into a danger zone, marked off in white paint along the edge of the platform.

As clearly shown by the disturbing video footage, Workman stood up from the Gateway Transit Center bench she had been warming, pounced on the toddler, shoving her face first onto the solid metal rail, two or three feet below.

Then, as if nothing unusual had happened, she returned to her seat on the bench. That’s where Portland police found her.

It will be interesting to see if the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office actually prosecutes her for a crime and puts her away, or if they will take pity on her and turn her loose. She probably just needs a little counseling, democrats say.

According to the report, “the girl, who was standing just beyond the white caution line, hit the floor first and slid over the edge head-first.” The attack is being described by local Portland outlets as “ruthless.

Quickly rescued from the tracks

Portland District Attorney Mike Schmidt issued a statement advising that “the child landed face-first onto the metal rail and rocks before being quickly rescued from the train tracks.” The assailant acted as if nothing had happened while bystanders pulled the girl to safety.

On Thursday, Workman was arraigned on charges of “first-degree attempted assault, third-degree attempted assault, interfering with public transportation, second-degree disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person.” Antifa will probably post any bail that gets set. If there is one, which isn’t likely.

The girl was banged up pretty good in her tumble. The child “reported having a severe headache after falling, according to the DA’s office, which added the child also had a red mark on their forehead after the incident.

Portland officials are requesting she be held without bond. Her attorney is trying to play “let’s make a deal” on that.

At the arraignment held Thursday, her attorney issued a motion to the court. “At Ms. Workman’s request, I am not requesting her release at this time, but I am objecting to the state’s motion of preventative detention.” A hearing on that is scheduled for Friday. He’s willing to let her sit in jail without bond, as long as they don’t make things look worse for her in front of the jury.

He has a point. A declaration that she needs to be locked up for the public safety of Portland could look bad enough to be considered “prejudicial.” Especially, considering the folks the city allows to run around free on their own recognizance. Ms. Workman isn’t really any more dangerous than any of their other anarchists.
