The FBI is facing a mutiny. A full 30 former agents, “including a retired deputy assistant director, head of counterterrorism and five SWAT team members” came together to voice what the active agents can’t say without risking their jobs. Each and every one of them stands in total support of whistleblower Stephen Friend. The special agent was suspended in retaliation for revealing Deep State secrets.
FBI slammed by former agents
The New York Post got their hands on copies of the things former FBI agents had to say. The Post notes their “heartfelt messages” show “a deep and widespread anguish” about the Democrat politicization of the bureau.
According to Ernie Tibaldi, a retired agent from San Francisco, It’s time to stop Christopher Wray from “being the enforcer of a political party’s ideology.” He’s convinced we “need to reestablish” the Federal Bureau of Instigation as “the apolitical and independent law enforcement entity that it always was.”
Stephen Friend, Tibaldi praised, had “the courage to stand up to the corruption that has taken over the leadership of the FBI.” One of the SWAT team members from Florida called Friend a “hero.”

The whistleblower was “punished for refusing to participate in what he regarded as unnecessarily heavy-handed SWAT raids over January 6 misdemeanors.” He was used like the prop in a play and that’s not right.
Friend put all of his concerns in writing by filing a whistleblower complaint with the toothless watchdog chained up at the Just Us Department, aka the department’s Inspector General.
He spelled out how the “FBI has been manipulating case-file management in order to falsely inflate the threat of domestic terrorism.” Not only that, Gestapo General Garland has them “using unconstitutional, excessive force against political dissenters.”
A model example for agents
Former deputy assistant director of the Counterterrorism Division, Terry Turchie, boldly proclaimed Friend as “a model example of what FBI agents nationwide should be.” He even listed specifics.
“Moral courage, leadership in the face of pressure, and true to the Oath of Office FBI agents take to defend the United States Constitution and protect America and its citizens.”
Former agent Turchie is “beyond proud to offer him my support in the decisions he had to make.” Five former SWAT team members heartily agree. “Raiding a nonviolent person on a misdemeanor offense was wrong.” Turchie was in on the capture of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski in 1996. That guy needed a SWAT team because he was “a violent domestic terrorist who had killed three people and injured 23 others.”

No real FBI agent would defend the position “of using SWAT teams to arrest non-violent senior citizens and others with political opinions not currently tolerated by this administration.” It really steams him that SWAT was called for misdemeanor charges.
“This activity actually generates tension in communities and increases the potential for tragic results and injuries to FBI agents and citizens.” Retired Special Agent David Baldovin agrees. “I was involved in numerous arrests where we never used any SWAT teams. The current use — or should I say abuse — of Bureau SWAT teams has been outrageous.”
Friend was absolutely right to pull the alarm buzzer and Baldovin thanks him “for having the courage to say ‘hell, no‘ to the current bunch of FBI bureaucrats and tyrants. They do not exemplify Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity, but you, sir, certainly do.“
