Another plan by Democrats to increase voter registration, and another problem.
In Oregon, a program had been put in place to automatically register voters through the DMV.
Unfortunately, since the plan has been in place, there have been hundreds of voters registered that are generating red flags.
Have to Stop
A report was run on the program, which found, “These records contained evidence of clerical errors regarding citizenship status but that does not necessarily mean they belong to noncitizens.
“For example, we know that of the 10 individuals identified in an earlier review who had a voting history, at least five were in fact citizens.”
So, Democrat Governor Tina Kotek has ordered the program halted for the time being until they can work out the kinks.
She and Democrats have insisted this error has not created widespread voter fraud, as they have only been able to identify seven people who were not supposed to vote who had.
Kotek, in suspending the campaign, stated, “Any error that undermines our voting system must be taken incredibly seriously and addressed.”
The Democrat who is running for Secretary of State was complimentary of the process.
Tobian Reed stated, “Oregonians deserve a thorough investigation of the automatic voter registration program’s implementation, as well as accountability at both the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Secretary of State’s Office.
“If that is not achieved by this investigation, I can assure you I will provide it if I am the next Secretary of State.”
The state GOP is now looking for a more widespread investigation into the program, stating, “She only looked at a small portion of voters registered at the DMV since 2021 and continues to insist that voter fraud is ‘extremely rare.’
“This small sample highlights how widespread inaccuracies in Oregon’s voter rolls are.
“The urgent need for an independent full and complete audit of the voter rolls is critical to ensure transparency and to reassure Oregonians that our elections are fair and free of fraud.”
Oregon is not a state that Donald Trump would win, but any appearance of fraud is going to drive complaints of election fraud during this election.
Even so, Democrats just keep playing games, inviting the criticism so they can call out Republicans for crying wolf, as though these problems don’t actually exist.
