Dead

The Biden-Harris regime’s hopes of ramming through the wealth redistribution tactic and maneuver to rewrite two centuries of state election law before Christmas have been declared dead near single-handedly by Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV). That’s right, the much-ballyhooed “Build Back Better” plan with a price tag of $1.75 trillion was fumbled at the 1-yard line by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) who simply couldn’t force it past Manchin despite Biden throwing the full weight of the White House behind it.

It’s Dead Joe

According to The Daily Mail, “At issue is Manchin’s insistence on cuts in Biden’s massive social safety net bill that funds education, health care, and climate programs.” While Senate Democrats and mainstream media outlets have insisted that Manchin’s main gripe with the insane spending spree is the expanded Child Tax Credit, the West Virginia Senator has vehemently rejected these reports.

“This is bullshit. You’re bullshit,” the West Virginia senator yelled at Arthur Delaney, a reporter for HuffPost Politics, as the leftist reporter harangued him. “I’m done, I’m done,” he fumed.

“Guys, I’m not negotiating with any of you all. You can ask all the questions you want. Guys, let me go,” he told the press as he walked through the basement of the Capitol, muttering “God almighty” as he walked away. the mail reported.

Manchin at a later press conference emphasized  that the story was completely false, nothing but “a lot of bad rumors.”

“I’m not opposed to child tax credit, I’ve never been opposed to child tax credit,” Manchin said.

Regardless of Manchin’s reasoning. Biden has expressed doubt that Build Back Better will pass before the end of the year, and sources in the Senate say that Schumer is “prepared to punt” the bill into the new year, refusing to bring it to a vote while Manchin still opposes it.

Manchin’s Defiant Stand Against Enraged Democrats

Senator Manchin is facing an unprecedented set of attacks and mounting pressure from his “fellow” Democrats, lending speculation that Manchin could be driven into the waiting arms fo the Republican party.

The Hill reported, that Democrat-Socialist jackboots under Majority Leader Schumer are escalating their pressure tactics against Manchin to eliminate the filibuster and ram through their reset of the American voting laws before the Christmas break in addition to the essentially dead Build Back Better plan which is now taking a back seat.

They reported, “A group of Democrats, tapped by Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), met with Manchin Tuesday as part of rolling discussions. But Manchin, simultaneously, is pushing for rules changes to be bipartisan and holding talks with Republicans, who are unlikely to support the sort of reform needed to get voting legislation passed.”

While Schumer’s goon-squad Sens. Tim Kaine (D-VA.), Angus King (I-ME) and Jon Tester (D-MT) have met with Manchin and leaned as hard on him as possible, they have only claimed to be making little progress. “Little by little we’re making progress,” Kaine said about the discussions with Manchin, adding that they have a “narrow task” but are “making some progress.” Kaine sounded more like he was convincing himself. Arizona’s Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is also holding out alongside Manchin as he assembled “moderate” (Read: RINO) GOP Senators to get their input as well. Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Roy Blunt (R-MO.), and Mitt Romney (R-UT).

“We’ve had informal talks on several different occasions … to try to find a way to make it simpler, to make it easier to get on subject matter [bills],” Rounds said.

The Hill claimed, that the group “discussed ideas such as eliminating the 60-vote threshold currently needed to start debate, while still requiring 60 votes to end debate; how to come to an agreement on guaranteed amendment votes; and even a talking filibuster, but under the current 60-vote requirement.”

Any hopes of this happening before Christmas seem dead on the table as long as Manchin can hold out.
