WTH Did Joe Biden Just Say?

Joe Biden is talking tough with the fossil fuel industry again.

With Hurricane Ian shredding Florida right now, there is significant concern not only for the safety and health of Floridians but also just how much this will impact the gasoline supply around the country.

Joe Biden seems to think that he can scare the gasoline industry into keeping prices down, but that is unlikely to work.

    Do It Now

Joe Biden knows that success during the mid-term election rests on the economy.

One of the most significant factors in that will be how much people are paying for gasoline.

If prices have floated back over $4 by the time the polls open, Dems are cooked.

So, this is Biden telling the gasoline industry to play nice…

They will not, with Bob Bilbruck, CEO of business strategy firm Captjur, explaining, “Margins are razor-thin in these operations and depending on their relationship in the buying ecosystem, they may be buying from a bulk fueler or directly from the producer [so] we are talking very little difference in prices.”

Geopolitical analyst Irina Tsukerman added, “These comments indicate that Biden is avoiding responsibility for his own contribution to the price crisis — the policies that have driven up the gas prices to begin with, failure to allow for leases on federal land, the shutdown of pipeline projects, the gas tax hike, among others.”

Gasoline prices ticked down for most of the summer, but they started to go the other way with summer being over and more people driving again.

When you add in the oil that is used for home heating and the loss of supply in Florida, it is only a matter of time before we start seeing $4 gasoline again.
