Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer just did an interview that can only be described as a complete disaster.
She was either making excuses or admitting what she did was not really working.
At one point, she even said they did not make sense.
Disaster
Whitmer, on her decisions made during the pandemic, stated, “We had to make some decisions that in retrospect don’t make a lot of sense, right?
“We didn’t want people, you know, all congregating around the gardening supplies. […] It was February in Michigan, no one was planting anyway.”
Former U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer insisted that she was gaslighting her constituents.
He stated, “The gaslighting here is simply breathtaking.
“The orders (multiple) were in late March/early April (NOT February) and were so unclear that some stores put caution tape around entire aisles to not risk noncompliance.
“A bit of humility would be nice.”

At one point in the interview, Chris Wallace offered up the Florida numbers in terms of death rate, which were only a fraction of what Michigan saw.
Whitmer, being the Democrat that she is, hinted the Florida numbers may be fraudulent.
I think voters would appreciate just a small bit of honesty rather than more conspiracy theory.
It is shocking these people get the support they do from voters.
