Senator Graham Found GUILTY…

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has found himself in a bit of a pickle.

For the first time in years, the Senate Ethics panel is disciplining a Senator for an ethics violation.

Graham violated the rules when he spoke in a federal building touting Herschel Walker’s campaign.

That Would Be Illegal

Graham got rapped on the knuckles because he drove contributions to Walker’s campaign while he was in a federal building, which is illegal.

Senate Ethics Committee Chairman Chris Coons (D-DE) and Vice Chairman James Lankford (R-OK) informed Graham that he got dinged.

The letter stated, “Your actions failed to uphold that standard, resulting in harm to the public trust and confidence in the United States Senate. You are here by admonished.”

Whoa! He’s has been admonished publicly, which I am sure will deter him from doing it again.

The last time the Ethics committee disciplined a Senator was in 2018, when Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) was hit on the knuckles.

As it turns out, Graham got in trouble for nothing because Walker ended up losing his race to Senator Warnock (D-GA).
