For four years the progressive-socialist left screamed, cried and held photo ops at immigration processing facilities to demonize President Trump. They called them ‘concentration camps’, they said American Customs and Border Patrol were committing atrocities and equated the situation to the holocaust. Now Project Veritas is exposing them.

With the Biden-Harris regime firmly in place, facilities shuttered by controversy have re-opened and are struggling to operate well beyond maximum capacity and ad hoc “emergency intake” facilities are being constructed under bridges, in warehouses and churches. Illegal immigrants are even being housed in hotels at the taxpayers expense. In other words: its back to business as usual under a Democrat White House.

Brandon Morse of Redstate wrote, “What’s Biden doing? For one, he’s hiding how bad the problem really is from you as Project Veritas’s recent footage shows us.

The overcrowded border facilities aren’t the only issue. The issue is that they’ve gotten so overcrowded that they’ve made new facilities involving some rebar, plastic fencing, and a bridge. In other words, they’re having kids sleep in the dirt under a bridge while being processed. That may sound hyperbolic, but as you can see from this Project Veritas footage, it’s a very apt description.”

In The Face of Veritas Footage, Still They Deny, Deny, Deny

The massive deluge or flood if you will (since AOC is offended by the word ‘surge’) of illegal immigrants are rushing to the border in direct response to the policies of the Biden-Harris administration. Yet, even as they deny the very existence of a border crisis they exhibit an absolute refusal to even consider a change back to the proven-successful model that the Trump administration developed in partnership with Mexico. A partnership that President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador sorely misses.

“Expectations were created that with the government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so,” President Obrador told the Press. “People don’t go to the United States for fun, they go out of necessity.”

But remember, don’t use the word “surge” Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez says thats a bad word. “This is not a surge. These are children, and they are not insurgents, and we are not being invaded. Which, by the way, is a white supremacist philosophy. The idea that if another is coming in the population, that this is an invasion of who we are.” Tell us another one bartender.

GOP Congressmen Demand Answers, Get None

Congressmen Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Tom McClintock (R-CA) have demanded Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas provide documentation of communication between his Department and the White House.

In a letter to the Secretary the Congressmen wrote,

“As the Biden border crisis continues to worsen by the day, President Biden and his Administration refuse to accept responsibility for the growing humanitarian and security crisis,” the Republican lawmakers said in a letter to Mayorkas. “This refusal to accept responsibility is startling in light of a news report that suggests the Biden Administration was warned that reversing President Trump’s successful immigration policies would lead to a surge at the border. We write to request documentation relating to these warnings.”

According to The Hill, Congressmen Jordan and McClintock, the ranking members of the House Judiciary Committee and the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship, referred to a recent damning report from NPR. In that report, the former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said his DHS staff members had warned the Biden transition team that reversing President Trump’s immigration policies, could lead to another crisis at the border.

“Instead of heeding these warnings, President Biden signed several executive orders dismantling the Trump Administration’s immigration programs and policies,” they wrote.

As Wolf observed in his NPR interview “There is no consequence anymore, The administration is treating this as though it’s a capacity issue and not an illegal behavior issue, and that’s a fundamental difference.”
