A new poll shows that 60% of Americans dislike New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and 75% are opposed to socialism. Americans support freedom and capitalism. Democrats better change their radical agenda or get voted out in 2022.
Democrats forcing Socialism on America
AOC may be one of the Democrats rising stars, but outside of her deep blue district in Queens / the Bronx Americans are not impressed with her policies. A Heartland Institute/Rasmussen poll asked Americans whether they thought free-market capitalism or socialism was better and 75% of likely voters chose capitalism, while 11% backed socialism. Another 14% said they were not sure.
“Likely voters hate socialism. Despite the countless calls for more socialism among elites in media and Hollywood, Americans aren’t interested in adopting the same socialist policies that have led to mass poverty wherever they have been tried,” the Illinois-based nonprofit said in a statement released Wednesday.
AOC has become the face of socialism in Congress. 58% of Americans polled say they have an unfavorable opinion of the New York Democrat, while 37% have a favorable view of her. 15% had no opinion about the former Queens bartender, the survey found.
The poll respondents were largely split on their view of Joe Biden. While 47% had an unfavorable opinion of the former vice president, 51% had a favorable impression of him. The survey polled 1,000 likely voters between Dec. 6 and 7.

Americans reject the radical Left
Democrats were expecting big wins in the House of Representatives this year, then ended up losing 13 seats to the GOP. The infighting began immediately. Some moderate Democrats such as Abigail Spanberger pointed her finger directly at AOC and her tone deaf rhetoric. “Nobody should say ‘defund the police’ ever again. Nobody should be talking about socialism.” Spanberger ranted during a conference call with other party members after the election, saying Democrats would “get f—-king torn apart” in the next election cycle if they keep it up.
